Breaking In Your Bat
Breaking in your bat before your first game! Start by hitting at least 100 softballs that are pitched either from a pitching machine or a personal pitcher. (Note: you can also use a batting tee) The balls should be pitched at regular slo pitch speed with an arc of 6 TO 8 ft. Rotate the bat 1/4 inch turn after every hit so the entire barrel breaks in evenly. The Factory shrink wrap paper should be left on the bat during the break in process. This will not void your warranty like rolling your bat in a machine would. For Slow Pitch and Fastpitch Softball Bats the Softball we recommend to use should be a 12 inch
